Before take off the gyro compass has to be aligned with the whiskey compass and during the flight it has to be checked for drift while flying in a straight line.

The Whiskey Compass is available in
- panel mount version,
- pedestal version (that mounts on top of the dashboard) and
- arm mount version, see below.
Panel mount
The panel mount version only needs 10 mm free space below the compass.
A strong and precise stepper motor guarantees smooth movements, also in a shallow turn!
Pedestal
The instrument is illuminated by a led.
